Delete your account

Two ways to do it. The first is instant.

The fastest way is in the app Open SapphicTides → tap ⚙ in the top right → scroll to Account → Delete my account. It happens immediately. No waiting, no email, no talking to anyone.

What deletion removes

Your account and your email address
Your push notification registrations
Any unused invites you created
If you're the last person in your shared space: every encrypted entry in it — check-ins, cycle history, notes, goals, everything — permanently

If the person you paired with is still using the app, the shared space and their entries survive. Yours are already unreadable to us, so there is nothing left of you in it.

It cannot be undone There is no grace period, no archive and no soft delete. If you want a copy of anything, export it first: Settings → Your data → Download everything. That gives you a readable JSON file of all your entries.

If you can't get into the app

Email privacy@sapphictides.com from the address on the account, with the subject "Account deletion request".

We'll confirm within 48 hours and complete it within 30 days — in practice, the same week. We may ask you to confirm the request from that email address, which is the only way we can tell it's you. We can't verify you any other way, because we deliberately hold nothing else about you.

Deleting the app isn't deleting the account

Removing SapphicTides from your phone leaves your account and your encrypted entries where they are. Use one of the two methods above to actually delete them.
